FAQ


1. How to Get to Camp Barcovan.


From Toronto: Take 401 East to Exit 509 for County Rd. 30, turn right toward Brighton, continue on Young St, continue on Prince Edward St., stay on the left and merge onto County Rd. 64, once you pass the Murray Canal and Barcovan Golf Club take a right on Carter Rd. and Camp Barcovan Tent & R.V. Resort will be on the left.

 

DETOUR NOTICE:  The Murray Canal bridge is under construction and closed until June/July. Please take Exit 522 from Highway 401 and follow the directions below.

 

From Kingston: Take 401 West to Exit 522 for County Rd. 40, turn left and head south towards Carrying Place, turn right on Loyalist Pkwy/County Rd. 33, turn right on County Rd. 64, turn right again and stay on County Rd. 64, turn left on Carter Rd. and Camp Barcovan Tent & R.V. Resort will be on your left.

2. What are your hours of operation?


The resort is open from May 15 – October 15. Our office is open Sunday-Thursday 10 a.m. – 7 p.m., and Friday – Saturday from 9 a.m. – 9 .m. Visitors checking in after-hours need to call the office at 1-888-859-2369.

3. What is Included in a Cabin Rental?

Every Cabin has two bedrooms with either two queen beds or one queen and two single beds. Linens are provided.   Each has a private bathroom as well as a fully equipped kitchen including fridge, stove, cutlery and dishes.  Please be sure to bring your own towels are toiletries as they are not included.  There is a T.V. with local channels, couches, patio furniture, picnic table, barbeque and fire pit. 

4.  What is included in an R.V. site?

 Every R.V. site has 30 or 15 Amp electrical service, water connection and some have a sewage connection. All sites have a picnic table and fire pit.  Every site will be clean when you arrive and must be cleaned prior to departure. An extra $20 cleaning charge will charged to guests who leave garbage or debris on their site or cause any damage. 

5. What is included in a Tent or Wilderness site?

Every Tent or Wilderness site has a picnic table and fire pit but may be subject to availability during busier weekends or special events.  Every site will be clean when you arrive and must be cleaned prior to departure. An extra $20 cleaning charge will charged to guests who leave garbage or debris on their site or cause any damage.

6. What is the minimum age required to make a reservation?

Guests must be over the age of 21 to reserve a campsite, cabin or R.V. site.
